Transformation House is MyELRO's flagship shelter program, offering emergency housing and transitional support for men and children in crisis. Founded in 2006, our program has grown from a 30-bed facility to a comprehensive housing solution that serves over 450 individuals annually.
We believe that safe, stable housing is the foundation upon which individuals can rebuild their lives. Our trauma-informed approach ensures that residents not only have a roof over their heads but also receive the support, resources, and guidance needed to achieve lasting independence.
Immediate, safe housing for men and children in crisis situations, providing private family rooms, meals, and basic necessities.
Long-term housing support with case management, life skills training, and financial assistance to help men transition to permanent housing.
Personalized support plans and regular check-ins to help residents achieve their goals.
Workshops on budgeting, cooking, parenting, and other essential skills for independent living.
Counseling services and support groups to address trauma and build resilience.
Job search support, resume building, and connections to employment opportunities.
